Bosnia: Roma Village of Kakanj
Kathy and Mark Eikost went to Bosnia in 1998. They work with the local churches to help them raise strong leaders. They are involved in people's day to day lives; hunger, poverty, injustice and corruption are issues they are dealing with. They try to make a difference whenever they can. Soup kitchens, community gardens, cottage industry, literacy, tution assistance and advocacy for Roma people are all part of their work.
